Walking On Water
If I tried to walk on water,
As Someone did long long ago,
Should I cross the waiting sea,
Or should I follow its flow?
For if I should fail and sink
Then I would maybe drown,
Should I keep quiet then
Or yell out like a circus clown?
Maybe people may stop and help
To pull me out from there,
But then if they cannot swim,
They may not even dare.
So should I walk on water,
(Have I nothing better to do?)
That Someone who walked before
Could do it ... but He was holy too!
