Halloween
October thirty-first is the day of Halloween,
Celebrating saints, martyrs and the faithful dead,
Also known as All Hallows' Eve or All Saints' Day,
Originating it's believed from the Christian way.
It is the Eve of various charms and spells and
witches,
All celebrated in many different countries,
With bonfires, bobbing apples, horror pumpkins,
In this traditional night where jack-o-lantern
wins.
Scary stories, horror films, and monsters are all there,
Children have witches' and ghostly costumes to wear
With painted faces go round on their scary beat,
Playing pranks and asking everyone for trick or treat.
And so All Hallows' Day with its festival fun,
Is loved by children and adults and everyone.
