Wretched

Do we know right from wrong?
The wrongs we see a lot,
From the north to the south,
From the east to the west,
All over the countries,
Whether developed or not.

Can we combat the wrong?
How do we put things right?
For all those in power,
Too self-centred to care,
Life goes merrily on,
The poor never sees the light.

Are the downtrodden there,
To serve the rich and strong?
The latter are lucky,
Don't feel the wretchedness
That the rest, not their fault,
Are living with all life long.
