The Spider and The Fly

The spider noticed his prey,
Strugging in his dangling web,
The insect had been flying,
When it was suddenly trapped.

Watching the monster approach,
The poor fly was filled with dread,
For the little victim knew,
Very soon he would be dead.

"Welcome to my humble home,"
The spider said to the fly,
As he studied him closely
With a hungry evil eye.

"I haven't had my breakfast,
It's still too early for lunch,
You make the perfect morsel,
For a most delicious brunch!"

Epilogue:
So the fly died and didn't go to heaven. Flies don't go to
heaven. Anyway there was nothing left of him to go anywhere.
